Manager - Tax Tech & Transformation

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Tax Technology Senior with at least 4-5 years of relevant experience. The ideal candidate will have a background in tax technology (1 resource for Direct tax experience and 1 with Indirect Tax experience) , strong communication skills, and a demonstrated willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.

Experience with Tax Technology incl Generative AI (Gen AI) tools/ solutions and client facing experience is highly preferred. The Tax Technology and Automation Analyst will support the tax technology team by assisting in the development and implementation of technology solutions to improve tax compliance and reporting across tax functions (direct tax and indirect tax).

This role involves working closely with the tax team, IT teams and client teams to identify opportunities for automation and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

Go to Market and create opportunities with Client on Tax technology and Automation solutions Ability to manage Tax tech projects with clients (setting expectations, pro activin creating delivery plans, dealing with client facing teams etc Managing projects of AI enablement with in Tax practice Preparation of Business requirement document.

Assist in the design, development, maintenance and enhancement of tax technology solutions to enhance efficiency and accuracy in tax processes. Collaborate with tax / client teams to understand their needs to streamline and automate tax processes and translate them into business requirement documents. Support the implementation of tax tools Help automate repetitive tax processes.

Usage of tools such as Excel, Alteryx, or other automation platforms will be an added advantage. Participate in the testing and validation of new tax technology solutions. Provide support and training to tax team members / client teams on the use of tax technology tools & automations. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide updates.

Participate in training sessions and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team. Stay updated with the latest trends and developments in tax technology and automation.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in tax technology

• Direct Tax (1 candidate) or Indirect Tax (1 candidate) . Basic understanding of tax principles and regulations. Familiarity with Gen AI, tax and technology solutions is a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite – Excel, PowerPoint, Word. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes. Experience with data analysis and automation tools such as Alteryx, Power BI, Gen AI or similar will be an added advantage.
