What You'll Do

Manage accounts receivable by creating and sending invoices, posting customer payments and following up on open balances Own billing and collections by preparing accurate customer bills, tracking past-due accounts and making friendly, persistent collection calls and emails Handle accounts payable by entering vendor bills, scheduling payments and keeping vendors happy Reconcile bank and credit card accounts and keep every transaction properly categorized Support payroll by gathering hours, preparing reports and making sure everyone is paid right and on time Keep the general ledger clean and help with month-end close and financial reports Work hand in hand with our office and management team to answer billing questions and keep records audit-ready What You Bring Hands-on bookkeeping experience (2+ years preferred) Experience in finance is required Experience with QuickBooks is required (QuickBooks Desktop is a big plus) Very detail-oriented, with a sharp eye that catches every decimal Great with numbers and a love of getting them exactly right Solid understanding of AR, AP, reconciliations and basic accounting principles Ability to learn new software quickly, plus comfort with Excel (experience with Service.
