Country Manager-Philippines

Core Responsibilities

1. In-Country P&L Leadership: Own the P&L for the Philippines. Drive revenue growth and manage operational costs.
2. Market Entry & Expansion: Develop and execute a tailored go-to-market strategy. Identify opportunities to expand footprint.
3. Regulatory & Legal Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to Philippine labor laws, tax codes, data protection regulations, and licensing requirements.
4. Local Team Building: Build or scale the local team. Recruit top-tier local talent.
5. Cross-Border Collaboration: Collaborate with fellow Country Managers across the region.

Requirements

1. Experience: Minimum 10 years of progressive management experience, with at least 5 years in a GM/Country Manager role within APAC.
2. Geographic Scope: Deep local knowledge of the Philippines.
3. Legal Entity Management: Prior experience managing a local registered entity is essential.
4. Language Skills: Business-level English + native/near-native Filipino/Tagalog.
5. Mobility: Willingness to travel internationally within APAC (approx. 30%).
