Country Manager-Singapore & Malaysia

Core Responsibilities

1. In-Country P&L Leadership: Own the P&L for Singapore and Malaysia. Drive revenue growth and ensure profitability.
2. Market Entry & Expansion: Develop and execute a tailored go-to-market strategy for both markets.
3. Regulatory & Legal Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to local labor laws, tax codes, data protection regulations, and licensing requirements.
4. Local Team Building: Build or scale local teams. Recruit top-tier talent.
5. Cross-Border Collaboration: Collaborate with fellow Country Managers across the region.

Requirements

1. Experience: Minimum 10 years of progressive management experience, with at least 5 years in a GM/Country Manager role within APAC.
2. Geographic Scope: Deep local knowledge of Singapore and Malaysia.
3. Legal Entity Management: Prior experience managing local registered entities in both markets is essential.
4. Language Skills: Business-level English + native/near-native fluency in local languages (Bahasa Melayu, Mandarin, etc.).
5. Mobility: Willingness to travel internationally within APAC (approx. 30%).
