Collections Specialist - Quezon City (40K Sign-On Bonus)

We are seeking a customer-focused Collections Specialist to support the management of outstanding customer accounts. In this role, you will engage with customers to resolve overdue balances, negotiate payment arrangements, and help achieve positive collection outcomes while maintaining excellent customer relationships This opportunity is ideal for candidates with experience in collections who are comfortable working in a fast-paced and customer-centric environment.

Key Responsibilities

Manage a portfolio of past-due accounts and perform collection activities in accordance with company policies and applicable regulations. Contact customers through outbound and inbound communication channels regarding account balances and payment obligations. Review account statuses and work with customers to establish realistic repayment solutions.

Negotiate payment arrangements and encourage timely account resolution. Accurately document customer interactions and update relevant systems with account information and action plans. Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders to address account concerns and customer inquiries. Ensure customers receive appropriate assistance while maintaining a professional and respectful approach.

Comply with all applicable collection guidelines, policies, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

Completed at least High School (Old Curriculum) or Senior High School (New Curriculum) At least 1 year of collections experience supporting UK-based customers. Experience in US or Australian financial/banking collections can be considered US/UK banking and telephony experience within mortgage banking or similar roles can also be considered Familiarity with UK collections practices and customer service standards is an advantage Must be conversant in both spoken and written English Amenable to work fully on-site in Quezon City Amenable to work on shifting schedule Benefits Sign-On / Retention Bonus Complexity Allowance Free HMO Allowances Program Incentives Please note that this is contingent to the final company or account you'll be profiled to.
