Bartender

Job/company introduction and main responsibilities Bosse Events is an established event management and staffing agency based in Durban North. We specialise in supplying professional hospitality staff to corporate events, private functions, premium hospitality venues, festivals and large-scale events across KwaZulu-Natal.

We are recruiting highly experienced bartenders to join our Durban hospitality staffing team for ongoing casual and event-based assignments. We are looking for confident, reliable bartenders who can work efficiently in busy environments, deliver professional guest service and represent our agency to a high standard. Main responsibilities: Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

Provide efficient bar service during busy events and functions. Prepare standard cocktails and mixed drinks. Operate GAAP POS systems and process customer payments. Manage customer orders accurately. Assist with bar setup, stock preparation and closing procedures. Maintain a clean, organised and professional bar station.

Follow instructions from onsite managers and bar supervisors. Deliver friendly, professional service to guests. Minimum work experience required 1 year of professional bartending experience. Minimum requirements Minimum 1 year of proven experience working as a bartender. Previous experience in established restaurants, bars, hotels or event venues.

GAAP POS experience strongly preferred. Confident preparation of standard cocktails, spirits, beers, wines and mixed drinks. Experience handling card payments and customer transactions. Ability to work efficiently under pressure. Strong communication and customer service skills. Professional appearance and excellent personal grooming.

Reliable transport to and from event venues. Availability for weekday, evening and weekend shifts. Contactable references from previous hospitality employers.
