Commercial Officer

Key Responsibilities

Lead bid and tender management, including preparing and submitting competitive bids via platforms like NipeX and Ariba. Develop pricing strategies and conduct cost analysis to maximize profitability. Negotiate and finalize contracts with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors. Identify and pursue business development opportunities.

Align commercial strategies with operations, finance, and procurement teams. Prepare reports on financial performance, bid success rates, and market trends.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Economics, Finance, or related fields. Minimum 5 years of experience in bid management or commercial roles, preferably in catering, hospitality, or oil & gas. Expertise in financial analysis, contract negotiation, and business development. Proficiency in NipeX, Ariba, and Microsoft Office Suite.

MBA or certifications like PMP and CIPS are an added advantage.
