Grill Cook

Grill Cook Location: Queen Miami Beach Position: Grill Cook Job Type: Full-Time Pay Rate: $20 -$21.00 per hour Queen Miami Beach is seeking an experienced Grill Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate is passionate about food, excels in a fast-paced environment, and has experience preparing high-quality grilled menu items while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and cleanliness.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook grilled menu items according to recipes and chef specifications. Ensure quality, consistency, and presentation standards are met. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, kitchen equipment, and surrounding areas. Monitor inventory levels and communicate product needs to kitchen leadership.

Follow all food safety, health, and sanitation procedures. Work collaboratively with chefs and fellow team members during service.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience as a Grill Cook, Line Cook, or similar role. Experience in a high-volume restaurant environment preferred. Strong knowledge of grilling techniques, food quality standards, and food safety practices. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Must be authorized to work in the United States. Physical Demands Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift. Frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds. Regular use of hands, arms, and repetitive motions in food preparation and cooking activities. Ability to safely work around hot surfaces, open flames, and commercial kitchen equipment.

Environmental Conditions Fast-paced kitchen environment with exposure to heat, noise, and varying temperatures. Use of kitchen equipment, cleaning chemicals, and electrical equipment. Frequent interaction with team members and guests in a diverse workplace.
