Software Engineer - FullStack

SOFTWARE ENGINEER – FULL STACK (NODE.JS & REACT.JS) Department: Development Experience: 3-5 Years Employment Type: Full-Time Job Location: Mohali JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Node.js and React.js. Build responsive, user-friendly front-end interfaces using React.js, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.

Develop robust back-end services, RESTful APIs, and business logic using Node.js and Express.js. Design, manage, and optimize databases using MongoDB and/or SQL databases. Integrate third-party APIs, services, and external systems. Write clean, reusable, efficient, and maintainable code following industry best practices.

Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues across the front-end and back-end. Optimize application performance, responsiveness, security, and scalability. Collaborate with UI/UX designers, project managers, QA engineers, and other developers. Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and ongoing application maintenance.

Follow Agile/Scrum methodologies and contribute to sprint planning and project discussions. SKILLS REQUIRED Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and hands-on experience with Node.js and React.js. Experience in developing full-stack web applications using the MERN stack or similar technologies. Good understanding of front-end development, back-end programming, and API integration.

Experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs. Knowledge of database design, data modeling, and query optimization. Strong analytical, problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a development team.

PREFERRED SKILLS

Front-End Development Proficiency in React.js, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript. Experience with React Hooks, component-based architecture, and state management. Understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility. Back-End Development Strong knowledge of Node.js and Express.js. Experience in developing RESTful APIs and handling authentication and authorization.

Understanding of asynchronous programming, middleware, and server-side application architecture. Database Experience with MongoDB and/or SQL databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL. Knowledge of database schema design, indexing, and query optimization. Tools, Testing & Deployment Familiarity with Git and version control workflows.

Understanding of unit testing, integration testing, and debugging tools. Basic knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. Familiarity with Docker and application deployment practices is an advantage.

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
