About the Role
Bakers Delight Toowong is seeking a skilled and motivated baking professional to join our team. You will play a key role in preparing and delivering high-quality, fresh baked products daily in a fast-paced retail bakery environment. Duties & Responsibilities Prepare, mix, knead, and shape dough for a variety of bread, rolls, and specialty products Bake products in accordance with recipes, ensuring consistency, quality, and presentation standards Monitor fermentation, proofing, and oven temperatures to achieve optimal baking results Ensure all products are fresh, visually appealing, and ready for display Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment in line with food safety regulations Assist with stock control, ingredient ordering, and inventory management Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production targets Support merchandising and display of products in-store Requirements Relevant qualification in baking or a minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in a commercial bakery Strong knowledge of baking techniques, dough handling, and production processes Ability to follow recipes accurately and work efficiently in a high-volume environment Strong time management skills and ability to work early mornings, weekends, and public holidays High attention to detail with a commitment to quality and hygiene standards Benefits Competitive salary package plus superannuation Stable, full-time employment with consistent hours Supportive and friendly team environment Opportunities for career growth and development within a recognised brand Staff discounts and a positive workplace culture If you are passionate about baking and take pride in producing high-quality products, we would love to hear from you.
