Buyer 2

Under the direction of the Procurement Manager, the Buyer 2 helps execute company purchasing needs and provides value and service to internal customers. Converts purchasing requests into purchase orders, confirms receipt, and ensures customer needs are met with on-time delivery through supplier scheduling. Attends weekly meetings with suppliers and internal production groups.

Supports procurement functions and assists with other activities as required. Must be able to analyze categories based on pricing, technology, availability, and continuous improvement. Some administrative support may be required. Candidates may be required to pass pre-employment and periodic screenings, including background checks, drug and alcohol tests, or other necessary assessments.
