Facilities Technician 1

The Facilities Technician 1 performs facility maintenance duties at assigned facilities. Provides overall skills to maintain site wide facility operation. Responsible for task assignment, ensuring proper use of tools/equipment,  and materials to complete tasks and safety huddles.  Advises facilities supervisor/manager of any issues pertaining to operation of infrastructure.  Respond to maintenance issues in a professional and timely manner. Assist with all aspects of facility maintenance.  Position Responsibilities: • Respond to maintenance issues – reactive maintenance • Maintain accurate and complete departmental records • Assist management in scheduling facility projects • Evaluate, maintain and modify facility related maintenance issues to resolve potential interruption of service.
