Data Modeler/Data analyst- CIL modernisation

Location: Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad (Hybrid) Experience: 9+ years overall, with minimum 3 years recent experience as a Data Analyst (preferably AML/Fraud in financial domain) Employment Type: Full-Time Compensation: Up to INR 25 LPA (market competitive) About the Role We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Data Analyst / Data Modeler to join our CIL Modernisation initiative.

The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in data modeling, governance, and quality frameworks, with proven experience in financial domain projects (AML/Fraud preferred).

Key Responsibilities

Perform data modeling/STTM for large-scale databases using tools such as Erwin / Hackolade Establish and implement Data Governance frameworks, including Data Quality rules and controls across databases and pipelines Utilize Collibra or similar tools for governance and quality management Conduct data validations, root cause analysis, and reconciliation between source and target systems (current vs.

future states) Collaborate effectively with business stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and documentation Work independently with AI tools to enhance data processes and analysis Contribute as a strong team player in modernization projects Mandatory Skills Senior Data Analyst / Data Modeler with AML/Fraud domain exposure Expertise in Erwin / Hackolade for modeling large databases Strong knowledge of Data Governance & Data Quality frameworks Hands-on experience with Collibra Proficiency in data validation, reconciliation, and root cause analysis Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills Experience leveraging AI tools in data workflows Work Preference Hybrid (flexibility between office and remote work)
