INTERN’S JOB ROLE: The Primary goal of an individual during the internship period is to acquire a detailed understanding of basic workflow processes and Domain Knowledge. Interns should demonstrate enthusiasm to acquire, retain, and apply the knowledge gained during the training sessions into their day-to-day tasks, ensuring consistent quality and efficiency in all works.
Interns are expected to have a basic understanding of computer operating, including MS-Windows, MS Office tools, Adobe PDF files, Internet navigation, e-mail communication, and online application usage. They should also have good understanding and analytical skills and also good communication skills both verbal and oral.
The Internship duration will be 3 months for Aeronautical Technical Interns (AME/BTech – Aeronautical) and 4 months for Non-Aeronautical Interns. At the beginning of the internship, all interns will undergo an Intensive Learning System (ILS) Training program for up to 4 weeks. This initial phase focuses on building a strong foundation by covering the fundamental concepts about Work and Application, followed by a comprehensive assessment and review to evaluate understanding and readiness after which interns will be assigned to the respective Group.
Once assigned to a group, the respective Group Head will provide the necessary training to help interns meet the minimum service delivery standards. Bi-weekly review sessions will be conducted to assess individual performance and progress. Based on these assessments, the Group Head may modify the training methodology or introduce advanced-level training as needed.
During these bi-weekly reviews, interns are expected to communicate and present effectively the job knowledge, SOPs [Standard Operating Procedures] and skills they have gained during training.
Requirements
Acquire Fundamental knowledge: Understand the basic workflow processes and overall system functioning related to the assigned tasks. Application Usage: Gain hands-on experience on CAMP application and other internal tools required for Job. Data Collection: Collect and organize data files from various sources [Network Drives / Shared Folders, from Application or from emails etc.
] while maintaining accuracy and data transparency. Data Processing: Process data systematically with high attention to detail and quality consciousness. Ensure all processed outputs meet accuracy and SOPs. Reporting: Provide regular status updates to mentors or supervisors regarding assigned work, challenges, and progress.
Skill Improvement: Make continuous efforts to enhance Job knowledge and understanding of data handling, analysis, and technical tools. Strive to learn that contributes to professional and personal growth. Team Collaboration: Work effectively with team members, participate in discussions, and seek feedback to improve performance.
Quality and Timeliness: Ensure to complete assigned tasks within timelines while ensuring the quality of output is always maintained. Organization Policies and Etiquettes: Follow organizational guidelines and etiquettes, maintain confidentiality, and demonstrate professional behaviour throughout the internship.
