Warehouse Operations Specialist

Job Title: Warehouse Operations Specialist Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Specialist to join our team. This position plays a critical role in ensuring smooth warehouse operations for our retail, eCommerce, and wholesale channels. The Person will be responsible for picking and packing orders, maintaining inventory accuracy and collaborating with team members to meet our stores' and customer fulfillment requirements.

This role requires efficiency, accuracy, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and organized workspace.

Key Responsibilities

Accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for our retail stores, E-Commerce and wholesale clients. Assist with labeling, tagging, and repackaging inventory for transfers or promotional events. Verify accuracy of orders against packing lists or pick tickets, ensuring proper labelling and shipping details. Prepare shipments for transfer to stores or fulfilment centres, ensuring timely delivery.

Handle products with care to avoid damage during picking, packing, or shipping. Receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments in NetSuite WMS or other inventory management systems. Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits to maintain accuracy. Report inventory discrepancies and assist in investigating root causes.

Monitor stock levels and notify supervisors of shortages or overstocked items. Organize and maintain the warehouse, ensuring efficient space utilization and clean, safe work conditions. Use warehouse tools and equipment, such as pallet jacks, carts, and barcode scanners, to complete tasks efficiently. Process product returns from eCommerce or retail channels, ensuring proper documentation and restocking.

Work closely with the warehouse manager, supervisors, retail and eCommerce staff. Provide support to store managers by preparing and shipping replenishment orders. Use NetSuite WMS and Shopify to manage orders, inventory updates, and shipping documentation. Ensure all data entries are accurate and up to date in the system.

Follow all warehouse policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with company and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in warehouse operations or order fulfilment (experience with retail or eCommerce businesses is preferred). Familiarity with inventory management systems like NetSuite WMS and Shopify is highly desirable. Experience in wholesale order fulfilment is a plus. Skills: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order picking and inventory handling.

Good organizational and time-management skills. Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software quickly. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills to coordinate with various teams. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 50 lbs) safely.

Comfortable standing, walking, bending and performing physical tasks for extended periods. Job Type: Full-time Pay: (depending on experience).
