SEN English Teacher – Barnet Create accessible, purposeful English learning that strengthens communication, literacy and confidence for pupils with a range of additional needs.

What you will do

• Plan and teach differentiated English lessons around individual starting points.
• Use engaging texts, structured language activities and accessible assessment.
• Create a calm classroom with clear routines and ambitious expectations.
• Work closely with teaching assistants and specialist colleagues.

What you will bring

• QTS or an appropriate recognised teaching qualification.
• Strong English curriculum knowledge and inclusive teaching practice.
• Experience teaching pupils with SEND is highly desirable.
• Clear communication and excellent safeguarding judgement. Contract: Full-time contract Pay: £180–£250 per day PAYE Right-to-work, references and enhanced child-workforce DBS checks apply.
