Credit Processing Analyst

As a Credit Processing Analyst, you will play a vital role in our organization's back-office operations. Your primary responsibility will be to handle credit-related inquiries and processes, ensuring a smooth and efficient customer experience. You will be the bridge between our customers and the credit processing system, providing accurate and timely information and support.

Process and review credit applications, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations. Conduct thorough credit assessments and evaluations, considering various factors. Communicate with customers regarding their credit applications, providing updates and resolving queries. Maintain and update customer records, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.

Collaborate with the credit team to identify and address any potential risks or issues. Monitor and analyze credit trends, identifying opportunities for process improvements. Provide regular reports and insights to the management team, highlighting key credit-related metrics. Assist in developing and implementing credit policies and procedures, ensuring consistency and effectiveness.

Train and mentor junior analysts, fostering a culture of knowledge-sharing and continuous improvement. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field is preferred. 2+ years of experience in credit processing or a similar role, preferably in the BFSI industry. Strong knowledge of credit assessment methodologies and regulations.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail. Proficiency in using credit processing software and MS Office applications. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex concepts simply. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Strong organizational skills and a proactive approach to work. Willingness to stay updated with industry trends and best practices in credit processing.
