Job Summary

Teach psychology courses at the college level of a specific area of specialty. Essential Job Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities: Prepare and teach classes, advise & mentor students, engage students in undergraduate research, and serve on departmental and institutional committees. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Publish professional papers, attend professional conferences, community service, and contribute to the growth of the psychology program and/or lead to interdisciplinary collaboration with other programs across campus.

Minimum Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

The ideal candidate will hold a Ph.D. in Psychology or a closely related area with expertise in at least one of the four following areas: clinical/counseling, statistical/experimental techniques, social, or developmental psychology. Experience teaching at the college level, in environments with student populations of diverse backgrounds.
