After School Enrichment Aid at Carberry Elementary School JOB SUMMARY: An Enrichment Aid works in conjunction with the Community Schools Coordinator to facilitate activities with students after normal school hours.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist the community school coordinator and/or program coordinator in preparations, implementation, and clean up of activities and events. Tasks include but are not limited to distributing snacks, prepping materials, setting up stations and equipment, making copies, etc. Monitor students during activities, snack time, and free play to ensure physical safety and positive behavior.

Be a role model and example that promotes good habits and behavior from the students. Act ethically and confidentially in all aspects of employment. Maintain cordial and cooperative working relationships with colleagues and students Know and follow school policy and the chain of command.

QUALIFICATIONS

Must be dependable and work well with elementary-age students Must be at least 16 years old Must be able to pass a background check to the satisfaction of the superintendent All non-certificated staff not under contract are under "at-will employment". Their positions shall be considered in all respects "employment at will" and the employee is subject to discharge by the district at any time without cause.

According to Idaho Code 33-145, applicant must disclose any pending or prior investigations, resignations during investigations or in lieu of contemplated disciplinary action, or disciplinary actions involving the applicant for misconduct in connection with employment or professional licensure or certification. Any applicant who makes a material misrepresentation or willful omission shall be subject to immediate termination of employment or rescission of the applicant's offer of employment or employment contract.
