Meat Manager

Job Description: Meat Manager The Meat Manager orders fresh and frozen meat/seafood and supplies, and develops merchandise displays to stimulate the growth of the business while maintaining excellent customer service by focusing on understanding and exceeding the customer’s needs. Responsibilities;

• Check department for the expiry dates and damages.
• Cut and fill case.
• Manage inventories by tracking weekly reports and ordering products and supplies.
• Schedule department staff and delegate assignments.
• Prepare, maintain and track records concerning inventories and work processes to calculate monthly gross profits according to company policy.
• Develop and implement merchandising plans using guidelines and suggestions in order to meet the financial objectives of the department.
• Control department costs by monitoring and improving operations to increase profitability. Requirements;
• Ability to lift 40 pounds. Continuous walking, standing, reaching, and bending.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently.
• Ability to provide excellent customer service.
• Strong team player with a willingness and desire to learn, work hard.
