Job description
Senior Residential Property Manager This Isn’t a Job. It’s a Standard. At TLC Management Co., we don’t manage apartments; we create communities people are proud to call home. We’re looking for a Property Manager who doesn’t wait to be told what to do. Someone who treats every resident interaction like it’s the most important part of their day.
Someone who understands that exceptional customer service isn’t a department; it’s a mindset. If you’re looking for an easy 9-to-5 where “good enough” is acceptable, this isn’t the place for you. If you’re energized by solving problems, leading people, building culture, and delivering five-star experiences every single day…Welcome home!
Compensation
for this role is $29 to $33/hr. commensurate with experience.
Who You Are
You don’t make excuses. You make things happen. You see a resident concern before it becomes a complaint. You believe urgency matters. You understand that every interaction either builds trust or destroys it. You inspire your team to raise the bar because you lead by example—not by title. You know occupancy is important… But reputation is everything.
What You’ll Own As a Senior Property Manager, you’ll be responsible for the overall success of your community by delivering exceptional experiences to residents while driving operational excellence. You’ll lead by example in: Delivering legendary customer service Building a positive, engaged community Leasing apartments and maximizing occupancy Developing, coaching, and motivating your team Creating unforgettable move-in experiences Resolving resident concerns with urgency and empathy Managing budgets and financial performance Driving rent collections and minimizing delinquency Maintaining curb appeal and property standards Partnering with maintenance to ensure homes are move-in ready Building relationships with vendors and community partners Ensuring compliance with Fair Housing and company policies Foster harmony in the workplace and promote a positive image of the company.
Any other tasks as directed by the team member’s direct supervisor What Success Looks Like Residents know your name—and they’re glad they do. Your team wants to perform because your leadership inspires them. Problems get solved before they become online reviews. Occupancy stays high because people refer their friends.
Your property reflects excellence—from the curb to the customer experience. The Non-Negotiables We’re looking for professionals who: Take ownership Communicate with confidence Thrive in fast-paced environments. Stay calm under pressure. Think like business owners. Have high emotional intelligence Believe details matter Are coachable but self-motivated Hold themselves accountable without being asked.
Treat every resident with dignity and respect.
Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent 3+ years of multifamily property management experience Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to communicate using clear, professional language Experience leading onsite teams Strong leasing and resident retention background Budget and financial management experience Knowledge of Fair Housing laws Experience with Yardi, CRMIQ, or similar property management software Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong conflict-resolution skills Flexibility to work occasional overtime periods and assist with other communities as needed Availability to work Tuesdays through Saturdays Willingness to perform all duties in a manner that is: Professional and ethical Consistent with company practices, policies, and procedures In compliance with applicable legal and Fair Housing regulations Why TLC Management Company?
We’re building more than apartment communities. We’re building careers. Our leaders are empowered to make decisions, grow professionally, and leave every property better than they found it. We invest in people who invest in our residents. If you’re passionate about leadership, customer experience, operational excellence, and creating communities where people genuinely love living, you’ll fit right in.
One Final Question… When residents leave your community, will they remember the apartment… Or will they remember how you made them feel? If your answer is both, we want to meet you. Apply today and show us what extraordinary looks like
