Infant Caregiver

Position Summary

Join a passionate team dedicated to making a difference! As a classroom support person, you'll work alongside the teacher to ensure infants feel safe and secure by helping them thrive. Additional responsibilities include assisting with classroom preparation, organization, and supporting effective classroom management.

Reports To: Supervisor Knowledge, Skills & Implementation Be present, attentive and engaged while caring for infants. Good communication skills, following written and verbal instructions Effective and professional communication with infants, children, parents, staff, and administration Maintain confidentiality at all times Serve as a role model for our students and community Demonstrates a high level of integrity and accountability Demonstrates patience when dealing with infants with varying abilities The employee shall remain free of any alcohol or non-prescribed controlled substances abuse in the workplace throughout his/her employment in the corporation.

Performs other tasks as assigned by the director, and other administrative staff as designated by the superintendent Instructional Leadership Make the transition into our care smooth Make sure that all feeding plans are followed Create a nurturing, play-based learning environment that encourages positive behavior Communicate in a professional manner with parents daily on the care of their child Keep the room clean and sanitized Maintain state requirements Report any concerns immediately to the Director Qualifications & Requirements High School diploma or equivalent Pass a drug screen Meet all state regulations to work in a childcare center Work hours may vary based on scheduling needs.
