Part-Time Meat & Dairy Stocker

Description Kimberton Whole Foods in Malvern is looking for a Part-Time Meat & Dairy Stocker! Schedule: Part-time, up to 24 hours per week. One weekend shift & closing shifts are required each week. Availability: Flexible, between hours of 7am-8:30pm Pay: $16/hr depending on experience Age Requirement: Must be 18 years or older.

Please note: Kimberton Whole Foods does not hire seasonally DAILY OPERATIONS: The Meat & Dairy Stocker's primary responsibilities to execute the following. Provide exceptional customer service to all.

Receive and stock all incoming refrigerated/frozen items including fresh meat and fish, local eggs and dairy. Receive and stock fresh bakery items and specialty products. Execute the current KWF ordering SOP to maintain fully stocked shelves in all departments. Work in collaboration with the Perishable Department Head to maintain accurate and up-to-date product signage throughout the entire department.

Follow KWF cleaning SOP, including weekly cleaning of the meat, dairy and prepared food cases. Assist the Front End by scanning customers' groceries and completing all transactions efficiently. Carefully and efficiently bags groceries.

Requirements

Full sense range (vision, hearing, and sense of smell) – the ability to read product labels, distinguish color & smell for quality control as well as the ability to communicate with the customers and co-workers. Lifting, gripping, and carrying objects – up to 50-75 pounds frequently, including boxes, cans, tools and other products.

Stooping, squatting, & kneeling – stoop and maneuver to pick up boxes from shelving and carts. Walking – short distances to bring items from miscellaneous areas. Standing- prolonged standing. Work environment – movement based with the majority of time being in motion (walking & standing) rather that sedentary (sitting).

Climate – ability to work in cold environments (cooler, Freezer, back stock area) and handle cold products for extended periods of time on a regular basis.
