Part-Time Cold Foods Stocker

Description Kimberton Whole Foods in Wyomissing is hiring for a part-time Cold Foods Stocker! Availability: Part-time, approximately 24 hours per week. Set Schedule: Sundays, Mondays, Friday, and Saturdays. Shifts are within a 9am-8:30pm timeframe Age Requirement: Must be 16 years or older Hourly Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 Benefits: Part-time team members are eligible for a 15% store discount after 60 days and a 401K with matching 3% after one year and 1000 hours worked.

The Cold Foods Stocker's Primary Responsibilities: Provides exceptional customer service to all. Receives and stocks all incoming refrigerated/frozen items, fresh bakery items and specialty products. Stocks and handles product following guidelines for time and temperature demands Rotates back stock on a first-in first-out basis Works in collaboration with the team lead to maintain accurate and up-to-date product signage throughout the department Follows the established practices for maintaining abundant, dynamic, and fresh displays Adheres to KWF inventory management practices Assists in other areas of the store as needed Requirements Physical Capabilities: Full sense range (vision, hearing, and sense of smell) – the ability to read product labels, distinguish color & smell for quality control as well as the ability to communicate with the customers and co-workers.

Lifting, gripping, and carrying objects – up to 50-75 pounds frequently, including boxes, cans, tools and other products. Stooping, squatting, & kneeling – stoop and maneuver to pick up boxes from shelving and carts. Walking – short distances to bring items from miscellaneous areas. Standing- prolonged standing. Work environment – movement based with the majority of time being in motion (walking & standing) rather that sedentary (sitting).

Climate – ability to work in cold environments (cooler, Freezer, back stock area) and handle cold products for extended periods of time on a regular basis.
