Senior Grants Manager

Location: HEALTH CARE CENTER BRF Department: Health Summary: POSITION OVERVIEW The Senior Grants Manager will primarily focus on ensuring grant regulation and fiscal compliance with grant and Indian Health Services (IHS) funding in association with the Finance Ordinance and Federal law 2 CFR Part 200. This position is responsible for seeking grant funding opportunities and work closely with grant administrators involved in special program and project funding efforts to ensure accuracy and grant fund spending allowability.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Health Care Management, Finance, or Accounting from a University required.
2. Master’s Degree preferred. ESSENTIAL:
3. No convictions of any felony or misdemeanor involving dishonesty.
4. Valid driver’s license, dependable transportation and proper insurance are required.
5. Must live and promote a non-abusive, healthy lifestyle.
6. Must obtain Tribal Financial Managers Certificate within 18 months of hire. EXPERIENCE:
7. Must have two (2) to four (4) years’ experience of success in administration experience and/or understanding of pre and post grant award administration.
8. Experience with Indian Health Service operations, with an emphasis in tribal self-governance preferred.
9. One (1) to two (2) years’ proven performance history of finance database competency.
10. Four (4) to five (5) years’ experience in health care-related field.
