Home Care Supervisor (Dells)

Location: HEALTH HOME CARE Department: Health Summary: POSITION OVERVIEW The position directs and administers the overall operations and personnel of the Personal Care Agency assuring successful achievement of the department's vision, mission, and program objectives. The position promotes and supports home health by providing senior management, leadership and healthcare expertise.

This position promotes individual health by providing the effective home services, ensuring compliance with Personal Care Agency regulations and policies and provides technical assistance and information to individuals, families and groups regarding home health day to day operations.

• MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION: 1.Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is required. 2.Master’s in Health Care Administration, Business or Nursing preferred. ESSENTIAL: 1.Possess a current State of Wisconsin RN license in good standing. 2.Possess a valid driver’s license, dependable transportation, and proof of auto insurance. 3.Possess Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or obtain within 90 days of hire. 4.Completes National Incident Management System (NIMS)/Incident Command System (ICS) 100, 700 certification within six (6) months of employment. 5.Must maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with the Privacy Act/HIPAA. EXPERIENCE: 1.Five (5) years of supervisory experience as a registered nurse in home care. 2.Preferred five (5) years of Personal Care Agency experience. 3.Working knowledge and contracting experience with Managed Care Organizations. 4.Possess advanced computer skills and has experience with using Electronic Health Records.
