Billing Clerk/Medical Coder (Brf)

Location: BRF-HEALTH Department: Health Summary: POSITION OVERVIEW The Billing Clerk/Medical Coder provides supervision, coordination, development, planning, and monitors all aspects of the Billing Department for program accountability, support and interagency cooperation.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

1. Certified Professional Coder (CPC, CPC-H). ESSENTIALS:
2. Valid driver’s license, dependable transportation and proper insurance.
3. No convictions for any felony or misdemeanor involving dishonesty.
4. Must live and promote a healthy, non-abusive lifestyle. EXPERIENCE:
5. Minimum two (2) years of experience in billing process and accounting in a Health Field.
6. Required knowledge of industry standard codes (CPT-4, ICD-10, and HCPCS-Healthcare Common Procedure Coding System and revenue codes.)
