It provides a range of diversified financial products and services to Corporation customers, Financial Institutions in EU and China. Job purpose: The FI relationship Manager is primarily responsible for developing and managing relationships with financial institutions. The role focuses on expanding the institution's business scope within these segments, providing tailored financial solutions and products, and contributing to the team's overall business targets.
Major duties and responsibilities:
- Establish, develop, and maintain a strong portfolio of clients, with a primary focus on funds, insurance companies, and consumer finance companies and etc.
- Responsible for the entire business cycle with financial institution clients, including credit line application, due diligence, and onboarding processes.
- Be familiar with the Funding financing, Bilateral Loan, Syndication Loan and other market standard products.
- Collaborate with internal departments such as risk, compliance, and legal to ensure all business activities adhere to regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Conduct in-depth market analysis and client research to identify new business opportunities and stay current with industry trends.
- Prepare and present business proposals, client visit reports, and regular performance analysis to senior management. In addition to these duties the Employee may from time to time be required to undertake additional or other duties within his capacity as necessary to meet the needs of the company's business. In their role, they may also be required to perform tasks for or receive working assignments from China Merchants Bank Co., Ltd., Luxembourg Branch (or any other group company), based on the service level agreement(s) signed between the entities.
Requirements
Master degree (BAC+5) related to the area of expertise, such as in Finance/Economics/Management/Banking with at least 2 years of relevant working experience. Or Bachler degree (BAC+3) related to the area of expertise, such as in Finance/Economics/Management/Banking with at least 4 years of relevant working experience.
Knowledge/Technical Skills : Knowledge, skills, mastery of tools and necessary abilities for carrying out activities Good with computer-based tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Outlook. Understanding of the market, credit, cash and operational risks, as well as good understanding of financial institutional products. Experience with the FI and NBFI KYC.
Experience with DCM Sales would be a strong assets Knowledge of data analysis Tool. Sound connections with other financial institutions and non-banking financial institutions worldwide. Sound Knowledge of domestic and international financial intuitional business operations. Strong business English, good knowledge of Chinese/French is an asset.
