Senior Implementation Consultant – Accubid

As a Senior Accubid Implementation Consultant, you will help electrical and mechanical contractors implement and optimize Accubid Anywhere. This role focuses on estimating workflows, database configuration, training, and process improvement across takeoff, pricing, extension, and bid management. You will work closely with customer estimating and preconstruction teams to understand their current processes, configure the platform, and help them successfully transition to new or improved estimating workflows.

What You’ll Do Lead Accubid implementations for new and existing customers, from initial discovery through go-live. Work with estimating and preconstruction teams to understand current processes, requirements, and desired workflows. Configure databases, labor units, item assemblies, classification structures, and other system components.

Deliver estimator and administrator training for takeoff, pricing, extension, and bid-management workflows. Assist customers migrating from legacy estimating systems. Support data migration, testing cycles, quality assurance, and validation of estimates. Provide recommendations on estimating optimization, workflow improvements, and best practices.

Identify implementation risks, dependencies, and customer needs throughout the project lifecycle. Maintain clear communication and documentation throughout each implementation. Partner closely with customer preconstruction and estimating leadership teams and internal Build. One resources to support successful adoption.

Work Environment & Additional Information This position is based remotely within the United States. The role requires regular interaction with clients and internal teams through video conferencing, email, project management platforms, and onsite engagements as needed. Travel may be required for customer implementations, training, meetings, or company events.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For Hands-on experience with electrical or mechanical estimating tools such as Accubid, Trimble Estimation, Mc. Cormick, Con. Est, Quote. Soft, or similar platforms. Strong understanding of estimating workflows, including takeoff, pricing, labor, extensions, bid management, and industry pricing or labor databases.

Ability to understand customer estimating processes and translate requirements into practical system configurations. Ability to teach complex software concepts clearly to estimators, administrators, and other users. Excellent communication, presentation, facilitation, training, and client-facing skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to manage multiple implementation projects, priorities, and deadlines. Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively with customers and internal teams.

Preferred Qualifications

Direct experience with Accubid or Accubid Anywhere. Professional experience in electrical or mechanical estimating or preconstruction. Experience implementing estimating technology for contractors. Experience with estimating database configuration, migration, testing, or optimization.

Compensation

& Contract Terms Anticipated consulting rate: $147 - $171.50 per hour, depending on experience, Accubid expertise, project requirements, and scope of work. Actual hours and duration will vary based on client demand and assigned engagements. Specific project scope, scheduling expectations, travel requirements, and other engagement terms will be established as part of the applicable consulting agreement.
