Direct Care Worker

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Direct Care Workers to join our team in Troy, MI. In this role, you will provide essential support and assistance to individuals in their homes, helping them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life. Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.

• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.

• Help with medication reminders and health monitoring as needed.

• Maintain a safe, clean, and healthy environment in clients’ homes.

• Report any changes in clients’ conditions or behaviors to supervisors.

• Document care and services provided in accordance with company policies.

• Coordinate with other healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care.

Requirements

• Previous experience in direct care or personal care assistance is a plus.

• Ability to communicate effectively and work compassionately with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Reliable transportation to travel to client homes in Troy, MI.

• Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and evenings if required.

• Ability to pass background checks as required by company policy.
