About the Role

Bakers Delight Belmont Citi is seeking a skilled and reliable Baker to join our team. This role involves preparing and baking a wide range of high-quality bread products while maintaining consistency, efficiency, and food safety standards in a busy retail bakery environment.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and bake a variety of bread products including loaves, rolls, buns, and specialty items Measure, weigh, mix, knead, and mould dough according to standard recipes Monitor fermentation and proofing conditions to ensure optimal product quality Operate bakery equipment including mixers, proofers, and ovens Adjust oven temperatures, humidity, and baking times as required Maintain consistency in product quality, appearance, and taste Manage daily production schedules to meet customer demand Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety standards Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering and storage of ingredients Inspect raw materials and finished products for quality control Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment Assist in training and supporting junior team members Requirements Relevant qualification in baking or equivalent industry experience Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in a commercial bakery Strong knowledge of bread production processes and baking techniques Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and public holidays Strong time management and attention to detail Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced team environment Benefits Full-time secure position Supportive and friendly team environment Opportunities for career growth and skill development Staff discounts and incentives Apply now to join a well-established bakery known for quality and freshness.
