Property Maintenance

Apes Hill Resort Inc., a world premier golf resort and community, is seeking to recruit highly dynamic and motivated individuals to join our Property Maintenance Operations team in the following positions. Candidates MUST indicate which position they are applying for before submitting their application.

1. Maintenance Supervisor The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for working collaboratively with the Property Manager in coordinating and supervising all maintenance activities across the Company, including but not limited to, electrical, plumbing, air conditioning and general building maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with the daily supervision of the maintenance department including its associates, by assigning tasks, providing training where necessary and supporting problem resolution. Collaborates with the Property Manager to develop and maintain the preventive maintenance program. Evaluates systems to determine maintenance or repairs that need to be performed.

Ensures that all repair work is completed correctly, efficiently, effectively, safely and within the established timelines. Assists as needed in the recruitment of associates for the maintenance department. Conducts on-the-job training to ensure quality and compliance in daily operations. Assists with the planning, organizing and facilitating of weekly meetings and pre-shift briefings.

Assists the Property Manager with monitoring staffing levels on a daily / weekly basis to ensure the department is adequately staffed at all times.

Qualifications

& Competencies: A Certificate in Electrical and/or Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline. A Certificate in Supervisory Management or relevant discipline. A minimum of five (5) years' work experience in a similar role in a luxury resort environment. Strong technical knowledge, critical thinking ability and problem-solving skills. 2. Maintenance Worker The Maintenance Worker will assist in preventative maintenance, energy conservation and the overall upkeep of public and guest-facing areas.

Key Responsibilities

Execute all preventative maintenance programs. Ensure proper operation of all equipment including plumbing, electrical, mechanical, water treatment and safety systems. Maintain accurate and up-to-date logs and records. Foster and maintain positive communication with all associates to achieve business objectives.

Qualifications

& Competencies: Certificate in Building Maintenance, or related discipline. A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in engineering or maintenance, preferably in a luxury resort environment. Sound knowledge of preventative maintenance systems Ability to safely operate, maintain and clean carious tools, machines and equipment.

Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
