The Role At infiniteVIU, customer work is everything.

As AI Architect, you will sit at the intersection of our own solution development and our customer delivery work. You will shape and build infiniteVIU’s proprietary AI offerings on top of and around RELEX, while also supporting our consultants in configuring RELEX AI Agents, Python plugins, and add-ons in real customer engagements.

This is a rare role that combines product thinking with hands-on consulting enablement. You will define architecture patterns, prototype solutions, enable our consultants through reusable assets and guidance, and help customers realize measurable value from AI in their supply chains. Depending on your profile and ambitions, this role can be scoped as a senior individual contributor or evolve into a lead role with a small AI team built around you.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Development Design and build infiniteVIU’s own AI-driven solution offerings around the RELEX ecosystem Define architecture patterns for integrating AI Agents, Python plugins, and external services with RELEX Prototype, validate, and productize reusable components and accelerators Stay close to the evolving RELEX AI capabilities and translate them into concrete infiniteVIU offerings Consultant Enablement Support consultants in configuring RELEX AI Agents and add-ons on live customer engagements Guide and coach consultants when developing more complex customer-specific logic, from design through implementation Act as the internal go-to expert for AI-related and advanced technical design questions Create reusable templates, documentation, and training materials Contribute to the infiniteVIU AI Community of Practice Customer Engagement Join customer meetings and workshops to capture AI-relevant requirements and advise on what is (and is not) worth building Work with customers to identify high-value AI use cases and translate them into concrete solutions Participate in selected customer engagements as AI subject matter expert, from scoping through go-live Make sure delivered AI solutions are robust, scalable, and actually used in day-to-day operations What You Bring 5+ years of experience in software architecture, data / AI engineering, or technical consulting Strong hands-on experience with modern AI and GenAI technologies (LLMs, agent frameworks, RAG, prompt engineering, evaluations) Solid software engineering background: Python, APIs, data integration, and cloud architectures (AWS, Azure, or GCP) Ability to translate business problems into AI solutions and AI capabilities back into business value Strong communication skills: you can explain AI concepts to consultants, customers, and executives alike, and are comfortable in customer-facing requirements discussions Consulting mindset: you enjoy coaching colleagues through complex technical problems as much as solving them yourself Comfortable working in an early-stage offering environment where you define as much as you build Fluent in English (German or other European languages are a plus) Willingness to travel when required What We Consider a Plus Experience with RELEX or comparable supply chain planning platforms Background in grocery, retail, FMCG, or CPG industries Experience building and shipping AI-powered products, not just prototypes Familiarity with MLOps, evaluation frameworks, and responsible AI practices People leadership experience, or clear ambition to build and lead an AI team Entrepreneurial mindset: you want to shape an offering from scratch What We Offer A unique opportunity to define infiniteVIU’s AI offering from day one Flexibility to grow the role as a senior individual contributor or into a lead position with your own team Collaboration with a highly skilled, international team on cutting-edge supply chain projects Direct influence on company strategy and go-to-market approach Modern, flexible, and entrepreneurial work environment Regular co-working with international colleagues in different European cities Competitive compensation and career development opportunities How to Apply If this role sounds like you, we would love to hear from you.
