Job description

The Field Officer is responsible for strengthening MDFC's presence at the farmer level by providing technical guidance, conducting field demonstrations, promoting scientific crop nutrition practices, and supporting market development initiatives. The role focuses on building strong farmer relationships, improving product awareness, collecting field intelligence, and assisting the sales team in expanding market reach while ensuring timely reporting and compliance with Company procedures.

Farmer Engagement Conduct regular visits to farmers in the assigned villages. Build long-term relationships with farmers and promote trust in the MDFC brand. Understand crop conditions and provide scientific crop nutrition guidance. Promote balanced and responsible use of MDFC products. Technical Development Conduct product demonstrations and product application programmes.

Establish and monitor demonstration plots. Assist in organizing farmer meetings, village meetings, crop seminars, and field days. Support investigation of technical product complaints. Dealer & Retailer Support Provide technical support to assigned dealers and retailers. Assist in promoting MDFC products through dealer networks.

Share product knowledge and usage recommendations. Collect dealer and retailer feedback. Field Officers are not responsible for commercial negotiations, credit approvals, or the collection of outstanding payments. Market Development Promote product awareness among farmers. Identify progressive farmers for demonstrations and product trials.

Generate farmer leads and support seasonal campaigns. Increase product adoption through field engagement. Market Intelligence & Reporting Observe crop conditions and identify nutrient deficiency trends. Monitor competitor activities in the field. Submit Daily Activity Reports (DAR), Weekly Tour Plans, and other prescribed reports.

Maintain accurate records in the CRM and mobile reporting system. Compliance & Professional Conduct Follow Company policies, SOPs, and the Code of Conduct. Maintain the confidentiality of Company information. Represent MDFC professionally in all interactions. Requirements

B.Sc. (Agriculture) / Diploma in Agriculture / B.Tech.
