  • Dementia Support Companion Social Wellbeing
  • Happy Hour Support Social Wellbeing
  • Bingo Support Monday's from 10:45am Transport Support to the Chapel
  • Wednesday, Friday, and / or Sunday's Knitting/Crochet Companion
  • Friday's from 1:30pm About the role/s: Social Wellbeing – Dementia Support Companion Do you have experience or an interest in supporting people living with dementia? We are seeking caring and compassionate volunteers to spend quality one-on-one time with residents living with dementia, helping to promote connection, engagement, and wellbeing. Social Wellbeing – Happy Hour Support Help our residents celebrate the end of the week! Join us on Friday afternoons from 2:00pm to assist with our Happy Hour program. This role involves socialising with residents, encouraging participation, and helping create a fun and welcoming atmosphere. Social Wellbeing
  • Bingo Support Mondays from 10:45am Bring energy and enthusiasm to our popular bingo sessions! As Bingo Support, you'll help create an enjoyable and engaging experience by interacting with residents, and contributing to a lively social activity. Transport Support
  • Transport residents to our Chapel Wednesday, Friday, and / or Sunday's from 9:45am The role would involve collecting the residents from their room and transporting them to the Mass Service within the facility, most of these residents have mobility issues. Once Mass is finished at 10:30am, you will transport the resident back to their room or common area. Knitting/Crochet Companion Friday's from 1:30pm Do you have skills in knitting and / crochet. Sit with residents to enjoy their favourite activity. Volunteer Requirements Successful volunteers will be required to: Obtain a Volunteer Police Clearance Sign our Code of Conduct and Statutory Declaration Complete mandatory online training If you are friendly, reliable, and passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of older people, we would love to hear from you.
