Role available Social Wellbeing
- Companion Activities Assist
- Morning's from 10:00am Bingo Support
- Monday's weekly and Friday's fortnightly from 1:30pm Activities Assist
- Happy Hour Friday's fortnightly from 2:00pm Social Wellbeing
- Support a gentleman resident to enjoy gardening (watering/weeding) About the role/s Social Wellbeing
- Companion Help brighten a resident's day by providing friendship and companionship to someone who may be experiencing loneliness or social isolation. As a Companion Volunteer, you will spend quality time with residents through conversation, shared interests, games, reminiscing, or simply enjoying each other's company. Your regular visits can help foster a sense of connection, belonging, and wellbeing while enhancing a resident's quality of life. This rewarding role plays an important part in supporting residents' emotional wellbeing and helping them remain socially engaged. Activities Assist Morning's from 10:00am We are looking for friendly and compassionate volunteers to join our group activities each morning from 10:00am to assist with activities like craft, quizzes, whiteboard games, cards at our residential aged care home in Kelmscott. Bingo Support Monday's weekly and Friday's fortnightly from 1:30pm We are seeking volunteers who can support residents to enjoy their favourite game of Bingo. Activities Assist Friday's fortnightly from 2:00pm Sit and connect with resident is a group setting for them to enjoy Happy Hour. Social Wellbeing
- Gardening Support Do you enjoy gardening, farming, or spending time outdoors? Do you love sharing stories and conversation? We are looking for a friendly volunteer to spend time with a gentleman living with Alzheimer's disease who has a lifelong interest in gardening and farming. Volunteer Requirements To become a volunteer, you will need to: Provide a Volunteer Police Clearance issued within the last six months Sign our Code of Conduct and Statutory Declaration Complete mandatory online training If you are friendly, compassionate, and passionate about supporting older people, we would love to hear from you.
