GIS Analyst, Regulations and Compliance

Summary of Job Description: The GIS Analyst performs GIS data collection and development, spatial analysis, statistical analysis, and provides support for a variety of government and business uses. The GIS Analyst also supports other staff members with their GIS needs. Minimum Requirements: Ability to solve problems using ESRI GIS software and tools Familiarity with Coordinate System Conversion & Transformation Familiarity with GPS Technology Ability to develop spreadsheets and work with databases Excel & Access proficiency Strong organizational and planning skills Strong written, oral, and cartographic communication skills Strong interpersonal skills Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Bachelor’s Degree in GIS Technology, Geography or related degree Five (5) years of experience in Geographic Information Systems technology Experience working with the ESRI Software Platform (ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise, Portal for ArcGIS) Experience with data editing in a multi-user versioned Enterprise Geodatabase.
