Client Service Specialist – Employee Benefits Hybrid At Alera Group, our Employee Benefits teams help organizations attract, retain, and engage their workforce through creative, compliant, and competitive benefits strategies. We’re seeking a Client Service Specialist who will make a meaningful impact by delivering proactive client service, thoughtful benefits strategy, and a high-touch experience for both clients and employees.

This role supports clients by ensuring benefits programs are administered accurately, aligned with strategic objectives, and compliant with all regulatory requirements. You’ll partner with internal teams and client contacts to deliver seamless execution, creative solutions, and a superior client experience. Why Alera Group Meaningful Impact: Help clients and employees navigate benefits programs that drive retention, engagement, and satisfaction Growth & Learning: Opportunities to deepen your expertise and gain exposure to a variety of clients and industries Collaborative Culture: Work in a team-oriented environment that values accountability, partnership, and the principles of The Collaborative Way RESPONSIBILITIES What You'll Do / Your Impact Client Partnership & Service Excellence Serve as a primary resource for employee benefit questions, claims issues, eligibility concerns, billing inquiries, and benefit administration support Deliver responsive, high-quality service while building strong client relationships Assist with open enrollment activities and employee communications Operational & Compliance Excellence Maintain accurate records and documentation within agency management and benefits administration systems Support client implementations, renewals, billing reconciliations, and ongoing service requests Ensure data accuracy and timely completion of administrative processes Growth & Retention Contribute to positive client experiences that support retention and long-term partnerships Collaborate with internal teams to identify service improvements and drive operational efficiency Support special projects and initiatives that enhance overall client success QUALIFICATIONS What You Bring Required High school diploma Ability to obtain a Life & Health License within six months of employment Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Preferred Bachelor's degree Bilingual in Spanish and English Experience supporting employee benefits, insurance, or client service functions Experience with benefits administration or agency management systems Core Competencies Client-first mindset Attention to detail Accountability and follow-through Collaboration and relationship building Problem-solving and sound judgment Adaptability and initiative ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Compensation: Hourly range: $23.
