Buyer / Planner

Description Reporting to the Site lead, the Buyer/Planner position in U.P.PRO SCM Ireland Ltd Inventory Management : Agree with the customer of the inventory levels which will be required Update catalog with the inventory levels Review the daily status of inventory at high risk for shortage and provide recovery plans Achieve inventory levels optimization by utilizing the internal network of buyers and planners to reduce excess inventory per need Resolution of any issue with stocked (warehoused) material Disposition and removal of inventory with low consumption, as required by the customer Purchasing : Perform to KPIs Purchasing decision making and PO placement Assurance of supplier acknowledgment to PO terms On-time delivery management Resolution of any issue that may occur from PO until receipt Reconciling accounts

Requirements

Business degree or equivalent Experience: Three years of purchasing or supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment or relevant field/position Background in indicator-driven work environment (KPIs) Skills: An analytic approach to work and strong attention to detail Strong Excel skills Strong communication skills (both written & oral) Data analytics skills Ability to partner and communicate effectively with the internal team, customers, and suppliers Project management leading initiatives for closure
