Job description
Performing preventive maintenance, basic repairs, inspections, and diagnostic testing for all Solaire-owned vehicles to ensure operational reliability, safety compliance, and cost-efficiency. Supports fleet availability by coordinating scheduled maintenance, validating external repair quotations, inspecting completed vendor work, and responding to emergency repair situations both and off property.
Ensure all maintenance activities are documented and properly recorded. Inspect and verify workmanship of completed repairs performed by external vendors before vehicle release. Conduct emergency repairs on-site or off-property for Solaire-owned vehicles that are immobilized due to mechanical issues. Identify mechanical issues early to prevent escalation and major breakdown Requirements Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience in automotive maintenance and repair.
Experience handling fleet vehicles is an advantage Familiarity with hybrid vehicles is an advantage Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance procedures Ability to perform vehicle inspections and basic diagnostic testing. Understands automotive mechanical & electrical systems Ability to interpret repair quotations and technical findings Good in both written and spoken English
