About the Role

The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and directing all phases of construction projects from initiation through completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget. This role requires close collaboration with clients, contractors, and internal teams to develop comprehensive project plans and schedules that align with project goals and regulatory requirements.

The Project Manager will manage resources, monitor progress, and mitigate risks to maintain project quality and safety standards. Effective communication and documentation are critical to track project milestones, resolve issues promptly, and provide transparent updates to stakeholders. Ultimately, the Project Manager ensures successful project delivery that meets client expectations and contributes to the company’s reputation for excellence in construction management.

Minimum Qualifications

Proven experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry with a track record of successfully completed projects. Proficiency in project management software. Strong knowledge of project life cycle processes and construction industry standards. Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent. Experience with advanced project management tools and software beyond Microsoft Project. Familiarity with construction safety regulations and quality assurance practices. Experience managing large-scale or complex construction projects. Knowledge of sustainable building practices and green construction standards.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and maintain detailed project plans and schedules using project management software such as Microsoft Project. Coordinate and communicate with all project stakeholders including clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure alignment and timely execution of project tasks. Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or delays, and implement corrective actions to keep the project on track.

Manage project documentation including contracts, change orders, progress reports, and compliance records to ensure accuracy and accessibility. Oversee project administration tasks such as budgeting, resource allocation, and procurement to optimize efficiency and cost-effectiveness throughout the project life cycle. Skills: The required skills such as project coordination, planning, scheduling, and administration are essential for organizing and driving construction projects efficiently from start to finish.

Proficiency in Microsoft Project and other project management software enables the Project Manager to create detailed schedules, allocate resources effectively, and monitor progress in real time. Strong project documentation skills ensure that all project information is accurately recorded and easily accessible, facilitating transparency and accountability.

Understanding the project life cycle allows the manager to anticipate challenges and implement solutions proactively, maintaining project momentum.
