Community Outreach Worker

Healthcare Staffing Professionals has an immediate need for a Community Outreach Worker. The Community Outreach Worker will function as a secretary to for assigned county department and conduct outreach activities working with persons experiencing homelessness to get them connected with assistance and resources.The positions will start immediately upon acceptance and employment clearance and are initially funded through 12/31/26, with the good chance of extension.

Pay Rate: $22.78/hr working 40 hours a week. Location: Position will be hybrid, 1-2 days a week in office, but will require field work driving their own personal vehicle. Coverage areas will be:SPA 5: West LASPA 6: South LASPA 7: East LASPA 8: South Bay.

Two years of highly specialized office clerical experience involving typewriting in the County service or in districts under the jurisdiction of the CountyA valid California Class C Drivers license.
