Chef – Seven Stars Hotel, Adelaide SA Seven Stars Hotel is seeking a skilled and motivated Chef to join our kitchen team in Adelaide. This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about food, enjoys working in a busy hospitality environment, and takes pride in delivering quality dishes.

About the Role

As a Chef, you will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality meals in line with menu standards. You will work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth daily operations, food quality, and excellent customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and cook dishes according to menu requirements Assist with food preparation, plating, and presentation Maintain consistency in food quality, taste, and portion control Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety standards Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering and inventory control Keep kitchen areas, equipment, and workstations clean and organised Work closely with kitchen and front-of-house staff during service Support the Head Chef/management with daily kitchen operations Requirements Relevant qualification in Commercial Cookery or Hospitality preferred Previous experience as a Chef in a hotel, pub, restaurant, or commercial kitchen Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking methods, and kitchen operations Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Good communication and teamwork skills Availability to work weekdays, weekends, evenings, and public holidays as required Must have the correct rights to work in Australia Benefits Competitive salary package Full-time stable employment opportunity Supportive and friendly team environment Opportunity to work in a well-established Adelaide hospitality venue Career growth and development opportunities Hands-on experience in a busy hotel kitchen Staff meals or discounts may be available How to Apply If you have the experience, energy, and enthusiasm to succeed, we would love to hear from you.
