Job Summary:

The Environmental Service Attendant is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation in all assigned areas, including offices, lodging, event spaces, and field sites. This role ensures that facilities meet health and safety standards, provides a clean and safe environment for staff and guests, and supports team operations through efficient and thorough cleaning practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and deep cleaning of assigned areas, including offices, restrooms, kitchens, lodging rooms, and common spaces
• Clean, disinfect, and sanitize surfaces, equipment, and high-touch areas to meet health and safety standards
• Dispose of trash, recyclables, and biohazard materials properly
• Maintain and restock cleaning supplies, equipment, and hygiene products as needed
• Follow all health, safety, and infection control protocols
• Assist with setup and breakdown of event spaces, including ensuring cleanliness before and after events
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply shortages to supervisors
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure timely completion of cleaning tasks
• Maintain an organized and sanitary work environment, including storage areas for supplies and equipment

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in cleaning, janitorial, or environmental services preferred
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment
• Ability to follow instructions, procedures, and safety protocols accurately
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple tasks
• Physical ability to perform cleaning duties, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required
• Good communication and teamwork skills
