Job description

Develop and manage inbound and outbound travel packages, customising itineraries based on client preferences and budgets. Provide tailored recommendations for accommodation, transportation, activities and travel insurance to enhance the customer’s experience. Consult with customers to understand their needs, creating detailed and accurate itineraries aligned with their requests.

Handle flight, hotel, transportation, and activity reservations, ensuring timely confirmations and accurate cost breakdowns. Assist clients with travel documentation, including visas and permits, and provide guidance on requirements. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of destinations, trends, and industry regulations to offer valuable insights to clients.

Build and maintain relationships with travel suppliers, industry partners, and customers for competitive rates and repeat business. Promote additional services, such as guided tours, car rentals, airport transfers, and travel insurance. Address and resolve travel issues, such as flight delays or accommodation problems, to ensure customer satisfaction.

Collect and respond to customer feedback, continuously improving the quality of services offered. Maintain accurate records of bookings, customer details, and interactions in the agency’s database. Monitor and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sales, customer satisfaction, and revenue, while proactively identifying areas for improvement to exceed targets Requirements Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Hospitality, or related fields (or equivalent experience).

Minimum 2 years of experience in the tourism and travel industry (3 years preferred; recent graduates with relevant internships are welcome). Strong knowledge of travel destinations, cultures, and popular attractions. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and travel booking systems (GDS knowledge is an advantage but not required).

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. Sales and negotiation abilities with strong attention to detail and organisational skills. Ability to multitask, manage time effectively, and handle multiple bookings or clients simultaneously. Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, including handling travel emergencies.

Knowledge of travel regulations, visa requirements, and industry trends.
