Position: Retail Assistant Assignment Type: Travel / Task Force Location: Mount Washington, NH Pay Rate: $16/hour Start Date: ASAP

Position Overview

We are seeking a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Retail Assistant to join our hospitality team on a travel assignment. The ideal candidate will assist guests with purchases, maintain the retail area, restock merchandise, and provide excellent customer service while supporting daily retail operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide friendly, professional customer service.
• Assist guests with merchandise, product questions, and purchases.
• Operate the point-of-sale system and accurately process transactions.
• Handle cash, credit card, and other payment methods according to property procedures.
• Restock and organize merchandise throughout the retail area.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-presented sales floor.
• Monitor inventory and notify supervisors when products need to be replenished.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, pricing, and displaying merchandise.
• Follow property standards for guest service, safety, and loss prevention.
• Assist with additional retail or guest service responsibilities based on the property's staffing needs.

Qualifications

• Previous retail, hotel, resort, customer service, or related experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Comfortable handling cash and operating a POS system.
• Friendly, professional, and approachable personality.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Dependable, flexible, and team-oriented.
• Willingness to assist with other duties as needed.

Assignment Details

• $16.00/hour
• Weekly pay
• Task Force / travel opportunity
• Travel expenses to and from the client facility are covered
• Opportunity for additional Task Force assignments
