Business Development Manager – 3PL Solutions

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Business Development Manager to lead our efforts in expanding our 3PL (Third-Party Logistics) services. This role is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing tender submissions, and securing long-term contracts across warehousing, distribution, and contract logistics.

The ideal candidate will play a critical role in driving revenue growth and strengthening market presence.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute business development strategies focused on 3PL solutions (e.g., warehousing, transportation, contract logistics). Identify and qualify new leads, client accounts, and market opportunities to support sales pipeline growth. Manage the full tender lifecycle from opportunity identification to bid submission, commercial negotiation, and contract award.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to tailor proposals that align with client needs. Conduct client presentations and deliver customized logistics solutions to meet customer challenges. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, industry stakeholders, and partners. Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to identify potential areas of growth or differentiation.

Provide regular sales reporting, pipeline forecasting, and performance tracking.

Requirements

Minimum 6-8 years of experience in business development, sales, or key account management in the logistics or supply chain industry. Strong track record in securing 3PL/logistics contracts and managing large-scale projects or tender processes. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

Solid understanding of warehouse operations, transportation management, and end-to-end supply chain solutions. Experience working with regional or multinational clients is an added advantage.
