Personal Support Worker

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Workers to provide high-quality care and assistance to clients in Whitmore Lake, MI. This role involves supporting clients with their daily living activities, promoting independence, and ensuring their comfort and safety in a respectful and caring environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility

• Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed

• Support clients with medication reminders and basic health monitoring

• Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' well-being

• Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients

• Report any changes in client condition to healthcare professionals or supervisors

• Adhere to company policies and client confidentiality standards

Requirements

• Compassionate, patient, and reliable with strong interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations

• Valid certification or training in personal support or caregiving is an asset

• Must be able to pass background checks

• Reliable transportation to Whitmore Lake, MI job site
