About the Job

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Director – Engineering to join Jumeirah Saadiyat Island Develop and communicate strategic vision, goals, and objectives in alignment with the overall business strategy. Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.

Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Allocate resources, including personnel, budget, and equipment, effectively to support project priorities and meet organizational goals. Provide technical direction and guidance, ensuring the use of best practices, methodologies, and technologies to drive innovation and achieve technical excellence.

Collaborate with other departments, such as product management, marketing, and sales, to align engineering efforts with business needs, customer requirements, and market opportunities. Identify potential risks and challenges associated with engineering projects, develop mitigation strategies, and monitor risks throughout the project lifecycle.

Evaluate the performance of engineering teams and individual team members, provide feedback, coaching, and development opportunities to support professional growth and ensure high performance.
