JOB OVERVIEW Job Id: L-MD-73077 Profession: Physician Specialty: Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Atlanta, GA 30338 Service Setting: Inpatient Coverage Type: Clinical Only Coverage Period: ASAP – May 28, 2027 Shift Schedule: Mon – Fri, 8a – 5p Reason for Coverage: Vacancy Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered by agency PATIENT INFORMATION Patient Demographics: Pre-adolescent to Geriatric Average Daily Volume: 14-16 patients/day Case Mix: Mood disorders, psychotic disorders, substance use disorders, and others FACILITY INFORMATION EMR System: Epic PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Hospital Priveleges Required: No Temporary Priveleges Available: No REQUIRED PROCEDURES Requred: Organic disorders Involuntary commitments Secusion therapy Restraint application Pharmacotherapy Group therapy Family therapy ECT Preferred: Anxiety disorders Affective disorder ADD/ADHD Personality disorders Eating disorders Development disorders Psychotic disorders JOB REQUIREMENTS Board: Board Certfication required (Eligible accepted, must become certified within 24 months) Licenses: Licensed in GA Certfications: BLS, ACLS, ABLS Experience: Minimum 3 years post-residency preferred; experience with wide age ranges (pre-adolescent to geriatric) Other Qualifications: EPIC EMR experence preferred; team-based care experience Duties & Resonsibilities Provide and supervise medical and physical care to admitted psychiatric patients.

Develop and implement treatment plans including medication management and psychotherapeutic methods. Collaborate closely with treatment team members, pharmacy, and hospital staff. Supervise and support nurse practitioners. Manage a wide variety of psychiatric diagnoses across age ranges.
